Bistrica river in its flow is about 26km long, in its upper flow goes over Pester plain and then sinks until again rebirths near in the lower part of Djalovica gorge. This gorge got its name by one of the longest caves in Europe – Djalovica cave that was so far explored in length of 17km, but in total has almost 100km. River is very clean and is rich in fish – trout, grayling, huchen, etc.
The fishing season in the Bistrica river is possible from May through September. The fly fishing in Bistrica river adventure can launch any day of the week. Our guide will get you where the big ones are and help you with the best nymph selection for the season and technique. However, catching a Huchen is a difficult process. This is advanced fly fishing for the committed (and it doesn’t hurt to be lucky too).
